#savetheday

Wasn’t the ‘Doctor Who – Day of the Doctor” awesome? I was at the 3D cinema screening with my Dad on the 50th Anniversary and the community atmosphere in the cinema that night was as infectious as the virus we’re all isolating to avoid at the moment! Tonight Dad and I are re-watching in our respective homes, but that community feeling is back again seven years on. Thanks to Steven Moffat for his live tweets through the special – helped make it feel like more of an event.

In the spirit of sharing with Doctor Who fans who may be self-isolating this weekend, I’ve launched this site a bit earlier than planned (which is why content is, to put it mildly, sparse – forgive that in the interim please!) so that I can upload my own multi Doctor crossover story called “Thrice Upon a Time”. This one features the 3rd Doctor meeting the 12th.

If you’re reading this you probably followed a link from Twitter (if I do this right and it works – neophyte wordpresser here) and decided to hang around and explore a bit but if you enjoy the story then bookmark the site and come back soon for the launch of ‘Pull to Open’ – a Doctor Who fiction and features fanzine, available here soon for download free of charge.

Whatever you’re doing this weekend, have fun, stay safe.

Welcome

If you’ve landed here by accident (which is how some of my favourite Doctor Who stories begin) why not take a moment and look around before you hit the fast-return switch! Here you’ll find news about recent events and ongoing projects, excerpts from stories I’ve written and links to published work. The site itself is a work in progress – much like the writer. Think of it as being like Doctor Who circa 1963 – not quite sure of where it’s going, but having fun getting there. I’ll admit to being as able a navigator (when it comes to setting up a website) as the Doctor was in those early episodes. Who knows where we’ll end up? All of Time and Space – are you coming along for the ride?

“We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?” — The Doctor.
